Our New Website & Shorter, Sharper .UK Domain Name Launched.

We are very excited to have finally launched our new shorter, sharper domain name and website design after almost 8 weeks in development! You’ll see things are looking pretty spiffy around here and it’s all been completely re-coded from the ground up.

Introducing Our New .UK Domain Name

Our new .uk domain (www.thedifferentplace.uk) is a shorter and sharper and puts the emphasis firmly on our business name – exactly where it should be.  It is the newest top level domain launched in the UK and is at the forefront of the online revolution. the availability to register .uk domain names launched on 10 June 2014.

Technologies Used to Produce Our New Website

The foundation was built using WordPress – which truly is the most amazing content management system out there today. We are really thankful to be a part of such an awesome community. And if you aren’t using WordPress for your website – I definitely recommend you put it in your plans because it gets better with every release.

The overall look and feel of our website was designed by the clever guys over at the Hixon Group, they have developed a series of WordPress plugins to add styling to our pages quickly and easily with little or no web design knowledge, I think you will agree they have done a great job.
